GrainGenius is built by farmers, for farmers. We take your privacy seriously.
Information We Collect
- Account: Name, phone number, farm name, ZIP code
- Farm data: Field boundaries, crop types, acres, yield history, grain positions you enter
- Location: GPS coordinates during field operations — only when you start a tracking session
- Photos: Images you upload for crop diagnosis, contract scanning, or seed bag scanning
- Usage data: App activity to improve features
How We Use Your Information
- Provide grain marketing signals, field tracking, and farm management features
- Send SMS alerts you opt into (grain price alerts, morning briefings)
- Analyze crop photos using AI to diagnose diseases and pests
- Scan grain contracts and seed bags using AI to extract data
Data Sharing
We do not sell your farm data. We use Anthropic (AI analysis), Twilio (SMS), and Mapbox (mapping) as service providers.
Location Data
Location is only collected when you actively start a GPS field tracking session. You can stop tracking at any time from within the app.
Camera and Photos
Camera access is used for scanning grain contracts, seed bags, and diagnosing crop issues. You can delete photos from your Farm Vault at any time.
